Obama's speech to Congress (February 24, 09)

I was pleased with a number of points, especially his direction on alternative energy and climate change. The tone was as far removed from the last eight years as it could possibly be. Hope and confidence trumped cynicism and fear. I felt it was a continuation of the dialogue with the American people that he began at his inauguration. And I think it was successful.
